Love To Make

Love To Make, an original poem by writer, Timber Heard.

Like Wale say,

Is it bad that

I’ve never made love?

But that I’ve only had sex?

Because you can’t make love,

With someone you don’t love,

Because the love isn’t there to make.

Every time, every time,

I’ve always imagined it was you.

Not the one that was on top then.

I look at the mirror on the wall

And I ask it what I did wrong.

But maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

And then again,

You might come back

To me.

And only me.

And then maybe,

We’ll have love to make then.

-Timber Heard
